Did Jesus' death immediately eliminate the sacrifices and offerings?

Merciful Servants of God - A podcast by Kennard Levi Brown - Sundays

Most of Christianity thinks there will never be a need for sacrifices and offerings. Is this true? "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled." (Matthew 5:17-18 KJV) "For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith the LORD of hosts." (Malach 1:11 KJV) "Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts. But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap: And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness. Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the LORD, as in the days of old, and as in former years." (Malachi 3:1-4 KJV) Isaiah 56:1-7; 66:23; Zechariah 14:16 Acts 2:1; Numbers 28:26-31; Acts 21:23-26; Numbers 6:1-21 If the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh . . . " (Hebrews 9:13 KJV) "For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins." (Hebrews 10:4 KJV) Hebrews 10:14-31 Revelation 21:1-4
