Leapmotor Aims for 4M EVs Annually, Partners with Stellantis

Leapmotor, a Chinese electric vehicle maker, aims to sell over four million vehicles annually by 2032, with a target of one million cars by 2026 through a global partnership with Stellantis. The company, based in Hangzhou, plans to launch a premium lineup priced above 250,000 yuan. Despite fierce competition, Leapmotor has seen its domestic sales nearly double in 2025, challenging market leader BYD. The companys success is attributed to its in-house development of 65% of parts, providing a 10% cost advantage.
