Make Your Damn Bed - A podcast by Julie Merica

misery flourishes in company - but so does joy. Pity parties are meant to be short-lived. Eventually, you’ll need to start recognizing your victimhood in conjunction with your confidence. Don’t get me wrong, you don’t have to constantly be productive to heal, but you do need to make space for positive action if you want to get out of the rut that pity parties can often lead us into. It may help to remember that one of the best solutions for wallowing in self pity is with action. If resolution of the direct problem isn’t possible, or the situation is nuanced and it’s a more general malaise and sadness you’re dealing with - focus on realigning with the things that make you feel more in control and empowered on a more personal and minimal scale. You don’t have to change your life to improve your sense of self + confidence.WATCH: www.youtube.com/juliemericaGET A MONTHLY NOTE FROM ME: www.makeyourdamnbedpodcast.comTUNE IN ON INSTAGRAM FOR COOL CONTENT: www.instagram.com/mydbpodcastOR BE A REAL GEM + TUNE IN ON PATREON: www.patreon.com/MYDBpodcastThe opinions expressed by Julie Merica and Make Your Damn Bed Podcast are intended for entertainment purposes only.
