Make Your Damn Bed - A podcast by Julie Merica

(PART 2) What I’ve noticed, is my ability to get stuck in the effort stage of a process - to the point where I can no longer see the process clearly, which leads to inaction. I am so hung up on the idea of struggle, that I struggle to get beyond the idea part. The best way to avoid this is to eliminate extraneous decision making. Limit your daily choices INTENTIONALLY. Where can you delegate, automate, or postpone tasks that don’t need your direct immediate attention? Where can you pre-plan and do some prep-work to avoid these moments that require immediate choices. Our capacity for making “good” decisions is limited based on a ton of factors - including how many decisions we’ve already made that day. RESOURCES: https://www.pnas.org/doi/pdf/10.1073/pnas.1018033108 and https://psychcentral.com/anxiety/anxiety-paralysis WATCH: www.youtube.com/juliemericaGET A MONTHLY NOTE FROM ME: www.makeyourdamnbedpodcast.comBUY SOME MERCH: https://www.teepublic.com/stores/make-your-damn-bed-podcast?ref_id=27657TUNE IN ON INSTAGRAM FOR COOL CONTENT: www.instagram.com/mydbpodcastOR BE A REAL GEM + TUNE IN ON PATREON: www.patreon.com/MYDBpodcastThe opinions expressed by Julie Merica and Make Your Damn Bed Podcast are intended for entertainment purposes only.
