F1 rule change because Red Bull are too good? NASCAR, WEC, WRC & more! On the Grid!

Lovecars On the Grid. Global Motorsport Podcast - A podcast by With Tiff Needell and Paul Woodman

Welcome to the Lovecars on the Grid Podcast! Tiff Needell and Paul Woodman bring us another roundup of motorsport events from the past week! We had WEC, WRC in Mexico, IMSA, NASCAR, Formula 1 and more! We start our podcast to pay our respects to Susie Moss, who has sadly passed away. The wife of late Sir Stirling Moss was said to still be talking to Sir Stirling even after his death. In Formula 1, we had a fierce race in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Fernando Alonso looked like the car to beat in the Aston Martin during practice. Max Verstappen has engine problems in qualifying, resulting in a 15th place qualifying position. Charles LeClerc was also serving a penalty, which put him back in qualifying too. Verstappen ended up gaining places again, finishing second behind his team mate, Sergio Perez, with Fernando Alonso in 3rd place. What Formula 1 weekend wouldn't be complete without some controversy from the FIA! The WEC were racing at Sebring for a dogfighting race! The win went to Toyota with a 1-2 finish. The WRC was in Mexico, with a win for Sebastian Ogier in the GR Yaris Rally car. NASCAR was at Atlanta, with a thrilling win for Joe Logano in the Ford. Next week, we don't have any car racing in Europe, but we have more NASCAR, and MotoGP on 2 wheels in Portimao!
