In May 2023 Serbia had two mass shootings in the span of a month. In response, Serbia's government made it a goal to 90% of the legal and illegal guns off of the streets and into the hands of the govt. With over 2.7 million guns estimated to be in circulation in the country, they had their work cut out for them.
