Cats lose a heartbreaker to Montreal in the final minute/OT. Is the division race over?

On today's edition of the Locked On FLORIDA Panthers Podcast, Armando Velez(@Mandoman12) brought in Jacob Winans(@Jacobwinans8) to the show to break down the Panthers' 3-2 OT loss to Montreal in a game where the Panthers looked like they were on their way to getting two regulation points, only for it to be snatched with just over eight seconds left in the third period and then the Habs ending it under 30 seconds into overtime. Florida was able to control play in the final 40 minutes of the game after losing Nico Sturm in the first period due to friendly fire on a collision with AJ Greer, and even Aleksander Barkov for parts of the second period. Panthers scored on the power play with Barkov in the locker room. The Panthers maintained Montreal's speed with zero odd man rushes against in the first 40 minutes, but one transition play changed everything where the Seth Jones could not deny the entry by rookie phenom Lane Hutson, and then after the puck was thrown toward the net, a block by Sam Reinhart and Vitek Vanecek going to a save, the puck took a strange bounce and Captain Nick Suzuki was found all alone to tap it in and tie it at two. Suzuki also made the Panthers pay in overtime where Vanecek overplayed to his left and was unable to give himself a chance to push off his post to stop the wraparound chance, and it resulted in a season sweep for Montreal over Florida. The Panthers have now fallen even further in the Atlantic Division race, but it's a quick turnaround as they will take their show to Toronto to take on the Leafs. The two give their three duds, when they knew the game was lost, and read fan questions and hot takes after the hearbreaker.
