Living the Sky Life - Our Autism Journey - A podcast by Laurie Hellmann - Thursdays

This is an episode you NEED to listen to!  While taping this episode, I learned so many important lessons and tips for assisting first responders in any type of an emergency... things that are crucially important to ensure the safety of our special needs children! My guest, Ashlee Parker, is from a small town outside of Springfield, Missouri. She's married to her husband Kyle and they have a 9-week-old baby girl named Eliza who brings them so much joy. She works for Ebenezer Fire Protection District and enjoys every minute of her job. Ashlee has been a Firefighter/EMT since age 18 and now, age 27, serves as the assistant fire chief. Although she's not a special needs parent, Ashlee has made it one of her missions to connect with and educate special needs families to help keep all children safe and ultimately prevent tragedies from occurring.   Connect with Ashlee on FB: @ashlee parker *She can share copies of the Functional Needs form to provide to your local fire station, EMT or police station ***************************************** To purchase my book “Welcome to My Life – A Personal Parenting Journey Through Autism” click HERE!!
