EP 50 Learning to Trust Yourself after Emotional Trauma

Legacy through Motherhood - A podcast by Stephanie Sims

Today we have another episode in our “Overcomer” series.  These are stories of women who have overcome something big in life, that could have broken them...but it didn’t - and instead they have figured out how to put their feet on solid ground and do things differently for their children or found a way to be a light to others enduring the same thing. These stories range from emotional trauma, to teen mothers, to mothers of children with disabilities and everything in between.  These episodes are kind of bonus episodes so you may see an extra one of these episodes pop up every now and again.Today's guest in the Overcomer series tells her story of growing up in an emotionally stunted home where the only emotion that was comfortable for anyone was anger.  As an adult, she realized that what she experienced as a child falls into the realm of emotional trauma and still has an impact today.  & Today she tells her story.More about Lindsay:Lindsay is an educator and coach with her Master’s degree in motivation and behaviour change.
