EP 20 They Just Need You: your life, your mission field

This episode is all about how God can use you to change hearts if you show up authentically within your community. And vice versa.⁣This past year God has been pursuing the heart of my friend, Kelly. God put her specifically on my heart a year ago when a conversation happened at an event with our gym and someone asked her if she was involved in church or wanted to be. And her response was a “HELL NO please don’t even ask” (and actually that’s a cleaner way to put it) ☺️.⁣⁣Now, a little over a year later she has a relationship with God and is leaning into that. Her story back to God just involved a bunch of people loving her where she was and being authentic so she could see and be in community with real, jacked-up, completely normal people who also loved Jesus.⁣⁣This episode is my story of how God put it on my heart to pursue her and then I interview her so she could tell her story throughout this past year.⁣Her favorite thing in the world is a Phoenix rising from the ashes. We were talking about Isaiah 61 together earlier where it talks about God making beauty from ashes and I couldn’t think of a more beautiful way to describe this past year for my sweet friend. 🖤⁣Kelly's Salon - The Copper Pheonix
