Linda Burton | Becoming Spiritual Leaders

“Priesthood power with a woman looks a lot like influence, and we access that through our personal righteousness, our humility, and our diligence.” In this episode, Sister Linda Burton, former Relief Society general president and current matron of the Jordan River Utah Temple, encourages women to see themselves as spiritual leaders, drawing upon priesthood power through their covenants to teach, lead, and bless others as the Savior would. Sister Burton also shares unique insights and experiences from serving as a temple matron during the pandemic, and how women can grow in their understanding and appreciation for the temple.
