Exodus 16: 17-31 Today, we hear how some of the people did not listen to God's instructions about gathering manna. The Israelites, didn’t listen to God b/c they didn’t trust Him. They didn’t trust He would rain down bread again the next day ...they didn’t trust HE knew best. We apply this to our lives and examine why we don't listen all the time either. The story reminds us that we can trust God AND if he is trustworthy, that means we can listen to Him. Listening means more than just hearing w/ your ears.. it also means, obeying with your actions.
