In this one I’m super honored to get to spend some time with my friend Kevin Mckernan, who is the Founder of The Improv Shop (an improv theater in St Louis, Missouri). Kevin is a kind, humble, smart, caring guy, and a super thoughtful, patient, and motivating teacher! His work and passion for this artform has impacted so many lives including my own! (I devoted 2 chapters to improv in AfterLIFE, Waking up from My American Dream.) In our time together, Kevin shared the story of how he ended up taking an improv class at St. Louis University High School and the butterfly effect from that resulted in him founding The Improv Shop in 2009, which has turned into a wonderful community of talented and amazing people who come together to laugh, learn, have fun, support, and love each other.
