Italian Wine Podcast - A podcast by Italian Wine Podcast

Welcome to Episode 1859 in which host Giulia Stocchetti interviews Andrea Barboni this week on The Next Generation More about today’s winery Tenuta di Tavignano is a historic winery of the appellation of Castelli di Jesi. It has been one of the very first wineries to really believe in the potentialities of Verdicchio wines. It was founded by Stefano Aymerich and Beatrice Lucangeli in 1973. Now their niece Ondine de la Feld manages it since 2014. She has converted the winery to an organic agriculture and has paved the way to make high-quality white wines that can age for many years. Andrea's passion for wine began randomly after a grape harvest he made in 2017 in search for a little nest egg. Then, his curiousity made him deepen his wine knowledge. Step by step he understood he wanted to work in the wine world. Andrea joined the winery in September 2022 for an internship for his Master in Marketing and Communication. After completing his Master Degree, he has definitely joined the winery in February 2023. After the first months of apprenticeship and after dedicating himself to social media, hospitality and tastings, since October 2023 Ondine has assigned him the European and Italian market.
