Even on the best of days...family is complicated. On this episode we dive head first into a dark yet hilarious ensemble comedy which is in theatres tomorrow.  Brace yourself because 'Daniel's Gotta Die'.Daniel (Joel David Moore) has always been somewhat estranged from his family, but a chance at family unity comes around when he's called to the hospital bed of his father Edward (Iggy Pop).  Much to the chagrin of his other siblings (Mary Lynn Rajskub, Carly Chaikin and Jason Jones) they can only inherit their share of their father's fortune unless they reunite as a family, other wise Daniel gets it all.  Under the watch of their family lawyer (Bob Saget) they all head down to their family home in the Cayman Islands to reunite as a family, but Daniel is the only one invested in "family time", as the rest of them plot the only way to get the money and back to their lives; Daniel's Gotta Die.A fun romp that borrows from the likes of Agatha Christie to a myriad of revenge comedies, it's a truly entertaining ensemble piece that will have laughing and squirming just a little bit right from the outset. We had the unique pleasure of sitting down with director Jeremy Lalonde to talk about the genesis of the project, shooting during the pandemic, memories of Bob Saget  and so very much more.
