Even small things are worth have long conversations about....On this episode in now it's third season we dive into the series of shorts other wise known as 'Bite-Sized Halloween' which is now streaming on Hulu for our friends to the south of us.It's a series of 21 short films from burgeoning filmmakers that get into the demented and the twisted things that we all tend to love during the month of Halloween.  We had the unique pleasure of talking with 4 of these filmmakers.Nian is the tale of a Chinese American girl faces her racist bully with the help of the Nian, a mythological creature said to eat bad children. from writer/director Michelle Krusiec.Live Bait from director Andrew Laurich is a genius little affair in which the roles of angler and bait appear to be eerily reversed.Mr. Crocket from writer/director Brandon Espy takes us back to our collective childhoods as a hyperactive young boy pushes his mom over the edge by continuously playing an old VHS tape of children's television host Mr. Crocket.Finally; from the warped mind of co-writer/co-director and co-star Rebekka Johnson we get the hilariously demented world of Bad Rabbit where a timid woman finally stands up to her cruel, elderly mother with encouragement from a deranged new friend, Bad Rabbit.All are unique, all fun and all are worthy entries into this series.  As we sat down with each director we talked about getting pitched to be a part of the series, inspiration for their stories, the freedom allowed inside genre film to tell a myriad of different stories and everything else in between....
