81. A positive mindset makes all the difference with Jaimi Faulkner
How I quit alcohol - A podcast by Danni Carr - Saturdays
Categories:
In this episode I catch up with our pal and amazing musician Jaimi Faulkner. It was great to catch up with this guy, last time we caught up in the flesh we were SMASHED in Italy after a chance meeting on a train on our way to Pisa. Jaimi like many of us started drinking in his teens and as he immersed himself in the Melbourne music scene his alcohol intake increased gradually over time, fast forward to an international music career and fatherhood Jaimi felt he wasn't living life to his fullest potential and that alcohol was holding him back. Now living in Germany Jaimi has been booze free for two years (at the time of recording). Jaimi has an incredibly positive outlook and after this chat I realise why letting go of alcohol was an easy choice for him, he focused more on his spiritual growth, what he was gaining and the way his relationships became so much deeper and more meaningful. Jaimi has a new album out and is currently touring in Europe to promote "Allen Keys and Broken Bits" which was born out of his journey of self discovery and his alcohol free lifestyle.
