How I quit alcohol - A podcast by Danni Carr - Saturdays

I was so blown away to have this incredible soul on the podcast, Jack Nagle from the Real Drug Talk podcast. Playing basketball at a high level being coached by Andrew Gaze, Jack went from being fit and healthy young man dabbling in drugs until alcohol and drug addiction took over and completely derailed Jack’s life. After becoming homeless, suicide attempts, psychosis, living a life of crime and hitting complete rock bottom Jack got into rehab and did the word to free himself. He studied drug and alcohol counselling and is now running outreach programs to help kids and adults free themselves from the hold of addiction. Using his own experiences, Jack is passionate about using the destruction of his past as his greatest asset to give the hope of freedom to people suffering with addiction, and educating the community with the reality of addiction. Working at the coal face of addiction treatment with various leading addiction treatment centres in Australia, appearing on national television, regularly commenting in broadcast media and print, working with government and being in and around addiction for over a decade, he has positively impacted thousands of lives. I loved this conversation with this amazing human.
