21. What's it like being a young woman in tech?

Today we are going back to the roots of why we started Hot Girls Code by chatting all about the experiences of being a young woman in tech. In order to get a well-rounded picture, we asked for some insights from other ladies killing it in tech via Instagram & a world first 'Hot Girls Code survey'! In our season 2 premiere episode we chat about the pressure to prove yourself, the lack of connections that can sometime arise from being the only girl in a team, battling stereotypes, the double-edge sword that comes from dressing for work, and the sometimes inequal distribution of non-technical work.
