Hoovering - Episode 115: Caroline Dooner

Hoovering with Jessica Fostekew - A podcast by Jessica Fostekew - Fridays

Welcome to HOOVERING, the podcast about eating. Host, Jessica Fostekew (Guilty Feminist, Motherland) has a frank conversation with an interesting person about gobbling; guzzling; nibbling; scoffing; devouring and wolfing all up… or if you will, hoovering. In this episode I’m talking to the author of one of the best books about eating that I’ve ever read. The Fuck It Diet, by Caroline Dooner. I’m rereading it now and honestly - if you are anywhere near ready to stop over-thinking eating, if you think you’re ‘addicted’ to food or to any foods, if you think you’d be better if you were smaller, you can stop doing those things and be happy and this book is a genuinely incredible way to start - funny, accessible, well-written and full of innovative angles and insights - I AM NOT BEING PAID TO SAY ANY OF THIS - I just really really rate the book, The Fuck It Diet. I’ve bee trying to bagsy Caroline as a guest for ages as she’s in Philadelphia and we got there at last, we met remotely, in our own homes.Everything written below in CAPITALS is a link to the relevant webpage. Honourable MentionsCaroline’s offerings on social media are incredible, follow the fuck it diet on INSTAGRAM to start with them just get on board and get the book THE FUCK IT DIET. My live stuff is obviously all on hold but I’m in two series on telly at the moment, THE TROUBLE WITH MAGGIE COLE on ITV Hub and TRIGONOMETRY on the BBC iplayer.
