When starting out, many artists (myself included), struggle to understand how to elevate their work. They often wonder if they need to add more or change their style to make something beautiful happen.  However, the secret isn’t in adding MORE, but in utilizing LESS. We’re talking about negative space! But it’s not a dirty word — it just means the empty space surrounding the subject of an artwork.
