Alan McDonald: Employers and Manufacturers Association Head of Advocacy on the Government's new visa scheme for seasonal workers

The Government has announced a new immigration pathway for essential seasonal workers. It has created a new subcategory of the Specific Purpose Work Visa - to help employers in upcoming seasonal peaks. Roles must pay at least $29.66 per hour, and offer at least 30 hours each week.
