There is an art and a science behind creating a powerful evening routine that will set your morning on fire. Many coaches will talk about the importance of a morning routine, but that actually starts with the evening before. So, let's talk about the rules and rituals needed to customize your evening routine to help you be successful the next day. First, we need to decide what results you want. Next, clarify why you want those results. Ask yourself, “where is this habit taking me, and why is it important that I go in that direction?” Give yourself rules to operate under, such as no screen time 20-30 minutes before bed. Decide on rituals regarding your physical, mental, spiritual, and relational health. Reading, journaling, or exercising are all helpful ways to end your day.
