I had a great time at the Google Events in LA and Irvine, the LA office is in the old Spruce Goose hanger, the former home to Howard Hughes wooden aircraft that was an engineering marvel, except for the part where it only flew once. It was 6 times larger than any aircraft built at the time in 1947 with a hanger just as large. They literally built a building inside the hanger, incorporating all the style and history, and that is the Google LA Office! Also…. I mayyyy have had a conversation or two about doing a Google Workspace Focused event at the Spruce Goose office in LA, so! Stay tuned for more on that as it evolves.
