He holds a master’s degree and a PhD in astronautics from Purdue University and served as an associate professor in astronautics at the United States Air Force Academy. With a 37-year tenure in the U.S. Air Force (active-reserve), he retired as a Major General. Dr. White also serves as a member of the board of directors for the Lausanne Movement.
