The Haunted Histories of Rebecca Pittman: Lizzie Borden, Myrtles, Versailles & More!

This weeks guest is Rebecca F. Pittman.  Rebecca is a bestselling author and has written books about many of my favorite places and I can’t wait to chat with her about the Myrtles Plantation, The Stanley Hotel, The Lemp Mansion, Lizzie Borden and more!! Plus Lisa Morton’s “Ghost Report.” Rebecca is a bestselling author of 13 titles. Her History and Haunting series of non-fiction books lands her regularly on TV, radio & podcasts where she is interviewed concerning new evidence she’s found or paranormal activity she has encountered. And, she has a series of mysteries coming out soon with a supernatural bend. She was raised in a rather unusual environment.  Her mother owned a successful modeling agency in Salt Lake City.  She was on a runway by the time she was 5, teaching modeling by age 16, and helping women find confidence and a core of self-worth, by her early 20's.  The fashion industry also gave her a background in creating special events. She has made a living as a professional muralist, motivational speaker, TV Talk Show Host, and author.  She majored in journalism and art in college, and finds joy in creating, using both brush and keyboard. Writing about historic places with paranormal activity is a passion of hers.  She finds their history fascinating...what she calls the "bones" of the place.   From there you begin to understand the hauntings that typically list the places she writes about in the top 10 most-haunted venues in the world.  She researches them extensively, spends the nights in their shadowed bedrooms, and interview the owners, staff, and customers to create the most comprehensive book she can.  She was featured on Coast to Coast Am with George Noory for a 2-hour interview with 3 million people listening in.
