The Breakfast Club / Jameson Caskmates Stout
Film And Whiskey - A podcast by Bob Book and Brad Gee - Tuesdays
Categories:
In honor of its 35th anniversary, Bob and Brad look back on writer-director John Hughes' seminal high school classic, The Breakfast Club. This is a movie that bot of our hosts have seen before, though it's much more important to Bob than to Brad. How will it hold up for each of them as adults?
The hosts praise the perfromances of (most of) the young actors, especially Molly Ringwald and Anthony Michael Hall, and don't shy away from a discussion of the terribly problematic ways the female characters are treated by Hughes' script.
Meanwhile, they finish off their sampler of Jameson with the Caskmates Stout expression. After disliking the IPA version, how will this one hold up in their estimation?
