Episode 60 - Love, Gilda

Documenteers: The Documentary Podcast - A podcast by Bob Sham & Friends

It's our first official episode of 2019 and it's one Bob and Akil have had in the bag for a while. We Watched Lisa Dapolito's "Love, Gilda" in theaters during the Nashville Jewish Film Festival for a one night screening done by the Festival with the help of Gilda's Club, a cancer support non-profit. Gilda Radner was a unique and influential comedic personality with a legendary career who left us waaaaay too soon. Let Bob and Akil tell you about her life story in this "In Theaters" edition. We actually have a lot in common with Gilda because we've also made out with Martin Short. Akil achieves a franchise record as he and Bob manage an episode less than an hour long. Akil was also very charmed to be in a theater surrounded by Jewish people. It's kind of adorable, actually. Mazel Tov. Keep on Doccin'® www.documenteerspodcast.com
