Episode 149 - "A2"

Bob and Angela follow up on last week's discussion of "A" with Tatsuya Mori's follow-up film aptly called, "A2". The remaining members of Aum Shinrikyo continue to deal with the fallout of the arrest of their leader following the 1995 sarin gas attacks on the Tokyo subway. This film focuses on the ups and downs of Aum moving from neighborhood to neighborhood and encountering protesters who don't want them every step of the way. Some protestors get to know them in some areas and other protestors, including a group of Nationalists, want them banned completely. Aum Shinrikyo must accept changes and responsibility in a Japanese society whose reactionary flames they helped fuel.
