Digital Orthopaedics Conference (DOCSF) - A podcast by Digital Orthopaedics Conference (DOCSF)

Categories:

Our guest: This is Episode 4 of Season 3 of the Digital Orthopaedics Podcast. DOCSF is famous for bringing outside thinking to our healthcare audience. From the CEO of Niantic (think: Poke’mon Go) speaking about how to scale augmented reality to change behavior, to the Chief Product Officer of UnderArmour speaking about how their sportswear company is becoming a data company with 230 million people on its platforms, DOCSF shows our audience what others are doing with digital tools outside of healthcare. For 2020 our first awesome Keynote is from Gary Kovacs. When I interviewed Gary about this role, it was clear that his depth of understanding of what it takes to execute on a strategy was exactly what we needed to kick off DOCSF with a bang. Gary is asked to speak frequently at Davos, the World Economic Forum and TED, has lead companies to major exits and run large divisions of the largest tech companies like, for example, IBM. Gary gave an outstanding presentation. Lets join him on stage at DOCSF 2020. The Venue: This conversation was recorded at DOCSF in January 2020, the weekend before #JPM Week in San Francisco. DOCSF is all about the intersection of digital health and musculoskeletal care. This year, the sessions featured leaders from Microsoft, Google, Mozilla, Amazon and many other amazing organizations, and Dan Kendall interviewed some of the speakers following their sessions on the stage. This special series of episodes features some of the interviews recorded at this annual event.
