DE94: Camille Rae | Small-Town Girl with a Big Heart and Powerful Voice

Podcasting Your Global Career - A podcast by James Kevin O'Connor - Fridays

Categories:

Originally from Kentucky, this sweet girl with a very powerful voice grew up singing in church.

Camille Rae, country rock princess, taught herself to harmonize at the age of 7 and picked up the guitar at the age of 12. Shortly after her one-hour guitar class, she wrote her very first song. You gotta give props to that!

Growing up with a musically inclined family, she was prepped up really well, being surrounded by all the great influences from the 90s. She tells me about listening to Garth Brooks, Tricia Yearwood, Martina McBride, and The Judds! Camille knows her music and she’s been with great company!

My favorite parts:

  • Camille tells me about Heart Songs for Veterans and the work she does for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. So inspiring!
  • Her music story growing up - she’s definitely made to do this!
  • Camille talks about social media and what her favorite platform is and what she thinks the audience wants to see!
  • Also, check out what Camille is excited about this year - what’s up and coming in her career! You wouldn’t wanna miss it!

Camille Rae songs featured:

  • Let Me Be the One
