Piṅgiyānī Sutta AN 5.195 - Buddha expounded a relatively short sutta to Brahmin Piṅgiyānī and 500 Licchavīans about five gems that are rare in this world. On surface value, it seems like an easy to understand sutta. Sis Sylvia Bay offered deeper insights into each of these five gems and reminded at the end, that one should not take blessings in this life for granted but to anchor firmly in the Dhamma and do our part for Dhamma to help ourselves and others.
