As the podcast turns 100, we start this week, as with our previous 99 episodes, with the Dewing Grain market report for week commencing 24th August 2020 giving Andrew’s latest insights into what the markets are doing. In a special Farmchat to mark our 100th episode Andrew’s at Holkham to meet with Tom Coke, 8th Earl of Leicester. Recorded a couple of weeks before broadcast, Andrew and Tom reflect on the 1st Earl, Thomas Coke, who was known as an agricultural reformer. They discuss the notion of ‘100 harvests left’ and the importance of soil health and long-term strategy. It’s appropriate that, in light of the ongoing relationship with Adnams, the discussion is washed down with Ghost Ship - both the alcohol version (4.5%) and the low alcohol option (0.5%). Thanks to all our listeners, old and new. Keep in touch - we are @dewinggrain on Twitter. The Dewing Grain Podcast is co-produced by www.eastcoastdesignstudio.co.uk and www.tinshedproductions.co.ukDewing Grain - Independent grain trader for Norfolk and Suffolk01263 731550 - www.dewinggrain.co.uk Hosted on Acast.
