What is the relationship between fear of rejection, lacking boundaries, and overextending yourself, and how do we find our center again? This month’s theme for HeartSpace community is HONORING MY NEEDS. And I believe this is the central connection between these things. Because when we feel like our needs are too much and we are too much, we start to neglect our boundaries, we overgive and we shrink. All of this stems from a deep fear of rejection that begins in childhood, when we express parts of ourselves that are vulnerable, and get rejected in some way for it by other kids or our caregivers.  This sends us the message that these parts are bad, that are bad, that we need to tone ourselves down. This is a bit of my story around this, and how I recently got triggered by being told that I am too much yet again, and what I have done about it.  Did you relate to this episode?
