DEENTOUR 36 - Properly Advising vs. Outright Judging

DEENTOUR - A podcast by Hussien, Osman, Osman - Fridays

In this episode we speak of the importance of advising in Islam and how outright judging has become a trend in our world that is taking the wrong turn. As Muslims we forbid evil and enjoin good and part of that is understanding we don’t hate people who commit sin, we hate sin because these are things that have been made haram for us by Allah SWT in the Quran or the Messenger ‎ﷺ in his sunnah. We address how the harsh manners that people use to judge others in an attempt to advise upon sins, especially online, have become a way to embarrass the one who commits the wrong and we should be seeking to help them see the error of the sin and not bash them for what they do. The best we can do is ask Allah to make it easy for us and anyone who struggles and understand we can always return from sin.
