Welcome to the Pretty Intense Podcast. Today on the show, very timely, we have Meb Keflezighi. As I prepare to run the Boston Marathon, I was very excited to have the honor of talking to Meb. If you are a runner, you probably know who Meb is. Meb Keflezighi is an insanely accomplished runner. He won the Boston Marathon in 2014. He won the New York City Marathon in 2009. He has a silver medal in the Olympics in 2004. He studied at UCLA. He has 4 NCAA championships, 22 National Championships, nominated for 4 Olympic teams and he’s written 2 books. He comes from a country called Eritrea. I mean it’s just a story of attrition. What better parallel could you make, other than that story of attrition, and the fact that you have to have so much attrition to run 26.2 miles for a marathon. Meb is just a really good human, and has some really lovely stories, and great perspectives on life itself. And of course, some really good tips on running. So I hope you enjoy the show today. I hope you pick something up either inspiration or perhaps some more running tips for your next marathon.
