Margarette "Bill" Allen was born a female, but never felt like a woman. He changed his name to Bill, and although it was only 1935 told people that he had a sex change operation after only a day or so in the hospital. Life was not easy for Bill, and the stress of society norms, depression and what he described as "funny moods" eventually bring him to the point of snapping one day on his 68 year old neighbor Nancy Chadwick who insisted on coming into Bills home because she was all too curious about the "little woman who dressed in men's clothing."
