Bluest Tape - A podcast by Harvey Couch, Jeff Kollath

Looks Like We Made it Without a GlitchHappy New Moment!“Looks like we made it without a glitch!” - Dave Schools, 12/31/99Oh, New Year’s Eve. While it might be second to only Valentine’s Day in the annals of overrated holidays, it at least is a night for some epic concerts, from the Dead and the Allmans, to Panic and Phish. This week, we celebrate New Year’s Eve’s from Panic’s glory years, focusing on 1995 to 1999, all in the state of Georgia, each year getting bigger and bigger, culminating in the Millenium show at Philips Arena. While these shows might have some bust-outs, FTPs, and rarities, NYE Panic shows are best known for classic tracks played incredibly well. Wanna hear a top-3 “Hatfield?” We got it. Wanna hear an epic slow “Porch?” Got that too. Hope y’all made it through NYE safe and sound and that you haven’t broken your resolutions quite yet!Links below go to whole show streams from Panicstream.31 December 1995 - Macon, GA - Macon ColiseumSend Your Mind > TallboySource: SBD/AUD Matrix by JTL31 December 1996 - Atlanta, GA - Fabulous Fox TheatreA of D > Hatfield, Better OffSource: FOB AKG 461 (DIN) > BPS-1s > FP-11s > DA-P20 by DATBRAD31 December 1997 - Atlanta, GA - Fabulous Fox TheatrePorch Song > Arleen > GretaSource: FOB AKG 414 TL2 (Omni) > Oade m248 > SBM-1 > D8 by Wes Taft31 December 1998 - Atlanta, GA - Fabulous Fox TheatreWondering > CoconutSource: FM SBD > DAT31 December 1999 - Atlanta, GA - Philips ArenaWhat A Wonderful World, Ain’t Life Grand, Respect Yourself (w/Dottie Peoples and the People’s Choice Choir, Dirty Dozen Brass Band)Source: FOB Schoeps MK2H > KC2.5 > CMC6 > Sonosax SX-M2 > HHb by Ethan LeeLinks:Uncivil Podcast The Wooks - Little Circle Apple Music/iTunes Spotify Web Hosted on Acast.
