Karen Garton is a Melbourne woman who lived a self-proclaimed "vanilla" life right up until her forties when she started to dig into some of the childhood trauma she had experienced. After an initial spiritual awakening experience catalysed by the powerful touch of a Reiki master (who also happened to be Karen's boss at an accounting firm!), Karen has since explored many spiritual modalities and had more fascinating spiritual experiences which she shares with us in Part I and Part II of our conversation. In Part II of our chat, we discuss altered state experiences had on retreat, sound healing, re-connecting with her late ex-husband in spirit, quitting her stable job to take a risk on her own business, a recent plant medicine journey, and the healing power of storytelling.
