Everyday being told to "calm down " or being asked " why are you so angry" because we are black and want our voices to be heard . Yet we are portrayed as submissive because we chose to wear an hijab and the ignorance of people. I am just as tired as you are sis. This podcast is an amazing discussion with my wonderful guest as she discusses what it means to her to be a Black Muslim Woman.
