It's Now the Now to See for Yourself

Awaken2Now (Nothing To Figure Out) - A podcast by Awaken2Now

Fred Gywenne who played Herman Munster, had always told his daughter that life was like the snapping of our fingers. When saying goodbye to his daughter moments before he passed, he just said, “I’ll see ya (snapped his fingers) this soon.” Be honest. Most of the people you know in religious and non religious circles have witlessly concluded that it is hell all the way to heaven and it's heaven all the way to hell. "Those sinners enjoying now will go to hell while us miserable saintly bastards make believe we believe what only experience can make us see. But we'd rather be happy later and pay our insurance dues now (although I'm never now) than be happy now and also be much more convincing to those who I suppose we've been taught need at least one sincerely and believable happy face if ever imagine our belief system is real. But my belief system is the hell that I can do anything with or it can do anything with me. Maybe there's another way? Should I see? I've spent so much time in hell that I don't want to risk heaven by questioning beliefs that aren't mine anyway but were handed to me much more by man made doctrines than Christ and the God that no one, when I'm honest, can explain or experience or relate with as long as we think He or She is a noun." So, silence. And before the "little me" with all of its conclusions made in or around the time most of us are 19 or 20, starts figuring the right answer out, just stop. You see, there's JUST THIS. Just this moment. And only in this moment as seamlessly in cooperation with this moment (to say next moment would thrust all of our minds into nonexistent future) and as this moment is seamlessly cooperating with this moment will you hear and see what few have. It takes nothing to make me happy. It has only been the illusion that I need something that has ever made me sad. http://cac.org http://awaken2now.live Is it possible you can know for yourself? Not figure anything out. But know by not pretending to know. What matters most is waking up to what matters not in the least. How about practicing now instead of reciting creeds? Practicing here now in silence and solitude, allowing the sediments in the muddy water to settle to the bottom. Are you willing to take the phone off the hook and rest for a while cause you can afford to wake up and loose even a day or two.... 'cause when will you realize, Vienna waits for you. -Billy Joel
