Rama Mantra is dedicated to Sri Rama, who was an avatar of Vishnu. He took birth as the son of King Dasaratha of Ayodhya to destroy the forces of evil, in the form of the demon, Ravana. Rama is venerated as ‘Maryadha Purushottam’ or the ideal man who was a good son, husband, and king.
