Dhanvantari Gayatri Mantra for Good Health and Longevity

Dhanvantari is the God of Medicine, the Divine physician of the Gods. It is believed he is the God of Ayurveda, the original medical system in the world. Dhanvantari is regarded as an incarnation of Vishnu, the Supreme Being, and alleviates human suffering by bestowing good health. According to Vedas and Puranas, Dhanvantari emerged from the Ocean of Milk during Samudra Manthan (churning of the ocean), with the pot of Amrit (nectar of immortality) and saved the Devas.
