Daridraya Dahana Shiv Stotra is a hymn that invokes Lord Shiva to destroy poverty. ‘Daridraya’ means ‘poverty’ and ‘dahana’ means ‘to destroy by burning completely’. This hymn was composed by the great sage, Vashishta. The poverty implied here can be mental as well as material.
