Working through grief with Nicky Clifford

Therapists Corner - A podcast by Sarah D Rees - Mondays

In Episode 12 I’m talking with the lovely and inspiring Nicky Clifford. Nicky came into the limelight under exceptionally sad circumstances when her son Flynn was tragically killed in a road traffic accident in September 2013. Nicky was part of a BAFTA-nominated TV documentary called ‘Prosecutors’, where she shared the journey herself and family endured, the documentary still airs on I player and I would highly recommend it. Nicky has learned to live with loss and grief with true compassion, she has trained as a grief recovery specialist and has gone on to help many people manage grief without judgement through ensuring that unhelpful myths about grief around what is right and wrong are banished, empowering people to be in their own journey. Nicky is now a Northwich FM presenter, she rocks it out and hosts a ‘Coffee with Clifford’ show. This is a powerful journey where you will go away re-thinking grief, loss and the journey we have with our loved ones.
