Jim Davidson is an accomplished and successful mountaineer and climber. In 1992 he and his friend Mike fell into a 25m crevasse on Mt Rainier. Jim survived that accident, but Mike, who was trying to slow down Jim's fall did not. To get back to safety Jim had to climb a 25m ice wall. After many years of mountaineering, in 2015 Jim wanted to fulfill his dream and summit Mt Everest. But then the deadly earthquake hit Nepal and Jim found himself once again in a survival situation. Today Jim takes us on his extreme adventures but also lets us into his mind to understand how he builds resilience, not only in the mountains but also in everyday life. Jim is a professional climber, speaker, and best-selling author. He wrote two books, The Ledge, about his experiences on Mt Rainier, and The next Everest about the deadly earthquake on how to build resilience. He lives with his family in Colorado, USA.
