EPISODE 55: SIKISA

In this episode, I talk to the fantastic comedian, SIKISA about her comedy career. Hailing from Barbados and based in South London, Sikisa has become of the most thrilling acts currently on the circuit, gaining audience appreciation with her vibrant and bold routines.  She was a finalist at the 2007 BBC New Comedy Award competition and regularly appears on stage with a warm and endearing presence delivering razor-sharp material. I first saw Sikisa live in 2020 where she was a guest for Always Be Comedy and has appeared for the club many times since during 2020 and 2021 both online and live as a compere or an act.  I have also seen her perform for Live @ Limehouse and Vix Leyton’s Comedy Arcade in 2020 as well as her solo work-in-progress show Bad Guy at the Brighton Fringe in 2021.
