What do people say about the existence of God?

"Believing in God is like believing in the tooth fairy!" It's hard to believe some people equate the global impact of Christian Theism with belief in the tooth fairy. So when it comes to belief the existence of God, is it even worth arguing? Sometimes it's better to stay silent. At other times, we can warmly agree to disagree.
