Everyone thinks that every question needs to have one answer. Everyone acts as though everything needs a specific solution or answer. but there is so much context and nuance to every situation in every moment of time for any individual. it feels good to have the answer. it feels good to talk about the best thing and have it go viral. but the one thing missing is the art of listening, understanding, AND ASKING MORE QUESTIONS. stop looking for formulas and answers. the problem is everyone wants to have the perfect exercise for every possible scenario. PRINCIPLES MATTER. YOU CANT create a formula for something as complicated as a human being. There are just too many variables involved. e.g. If I make a video about an exercise, it’s not just “THIS is the best exercise for GLUTES !!!” you need to take into account: injury considerations, comparisons to other movements, individual biomechanical concerns, benefits, drawbacks as well as details on how to program it for yourself — or how not to.... the list goes on. just like “Why the Keto Diet is the BEST Diet” will just do better with an audience in terms of click-through and hits VS “The Keto Diet/ ower carb approach may be beneficial for some populations but is generally unnecessarily restrictive and tends to have a high drop-out and relapse rate." People want a simple answer. WHICH exercise. WHICH diet. WHO to follow. WHO to trust. WHAT to buy. They don’t want to think about WHY, and that is why most people are so damn easy to manipulate. I WANT IT FAST AND I WANT IT NOW. Most people DONT even read long text or vids as it doesn’t have “the answer”. Find Geoff's MUSINGS AT facebook.com/FitnessMusings/
